NovArc Player for Android
For phones, tablets, Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV. Every device starts with a free 7-day trial. The Google Play version is on its way; until then, install the app from here.
Phones and tablets
- Open this page on your phone or tablet and tap Download.
- Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow your browser to install apps.
- Tap Install. If Google Play Protect says it doesn't recognize the app, choose More details › Install anyway.
Android TV, Google TV and TV boxes
- On the TV, install Downloader (by AFTVnews) from the Google Play Store.
- Open Downloader, type this address and choose Go:novarcplayer.com/tv
- When the TV asks, allow Downloader to install apps, then choose Install.
- Open NovArc Player from your apps.
Amazon Fire TV
- Search for Downloader on your Fire TV and install it.
- Go to Settings › My Fire TV › Developer options › Install unknown apps and turn on Downloader. No Developer options? Open Settings › My Fire TV › About and select your Fire TV's name 7 times.
- In Downloader, type novarcplayer.com/tv and choose Go, then Install.
Fire TV models with Vega OS (Fire TV Stick 4K Select, Fire TV Stick HD from 2026) can't install Android apps.

After installing
Open NovArc Player and add your playlist, as an Xtream Codes login or an M3U link. Rather type on your phone? Open novarcplayer.com/activate and sign in with the device ID and key the app shows. When your trial ends, a lifetime license for that device is $14.99, plus tax where it applies.
The app keeps its screens and features up to date by itself. When a new version of the Android app comes out, it appears on this page: install it over the old one, and your playlists, settings and license stay.
Open-source software
The app plays video with libVLC and FFmpeg, which are free software under the GNU Lesser General Public License 2.1 or later. They're included unchanged, as separate libraries. Source code for the versions in this app:
- libVLC 3.7.6 (VideoLAN)
- FFmpeg audio decoders for Media3 1.6.1+1 (Jellyfin), which builds FFmpeg
